Practically and Accurately Serving Rural Revitalization--Two Project Promotion Conferences during the Week of “Forum on Scientific and Technological Innovation Underpinning Rural Revitalization” Successfully Concluded

Two project promotion conferences of the Week of “Forum on Scientific and Technological Innovation Underpinning Rural Revitalization” of the 20th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals hosted by China Association for International Exchange of Personnel and jointly organized by Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel and Omron (China) Co., Ltd. were successively held online on June 24 and 25, 2022. Experts or project owners from China, Japan, Israel, Romania, and the Netherlands promoted 14 agricultural cooperation projects online, covering such fields as smart agriculture, facility agriculture, circular agriculture, intelligent agriculture, aquaculture, crop planting, food processing, and pest control. In addition, guests from the competent departments for science and technology in all provinces/autonomous regions/municipalities directly under the central government/cities specifically designated in the state plan/sub-provincial cities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as those from some agricultural colleges and universities, scientific research institutes, agricultural high-tech industry demonstration zones, national innovative counties (cities) and agricultural enterprises in China also participated in the conferences.

With the successful conclusion of the two project promotion conferences, the 4-day Forum of the 20th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals came to a satisfactory end. During the event, Chinese and foreign leaders and guests shared their ideas and experience, summarized the status quo, and looked into the future at the Forum, which provided helpful references for the participating professionals and audience. The projects promoted focused on the key fields in agricultural development, accurate and practical, providing opportunities for future cooperation. Next, by highlighting the role of scientific and technological innovation in supporting rural revitalization, the Conference will give full play to the advantages of the Conference as an international platform, integrate high-quality resources from all parties in the field of agricultural and countryside development, promote the exchange and sharing of advanced experience and ideas, carry out cooperation and trade of projects, technology and products so as to provide opportunities for international sci-tech and innovation cooperation and talent exchange in the agriculture and countryside field and to build practical platforms for serving rural revitalization.
