Facilitated by SCIEP, the 7th “BDStars” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition·Shenzhen Roadshow Concluded with Great Success

On the afternoon of August 29, the 7th “BDStars” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition·Shenzhen Roadshow was successfully concluded at Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology. Hosted by the GNSS & LBS Association of China (GLAC), co-organized by the Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel (SCIEP), the Youth Working Committee of GLAC, Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, Intellectual Traffic Safety Association of Shenzhen (SZITS), Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation and Development Promotion Association, Shenzhen Beidou Industry Internet Research Institute, and Chengdu Productivity Promotion Center, the event served as a premier platform for both the presentation of cutting-edge projects and the exchange of industry insights.

Mr. Fan Jianping, Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Preparatory Office of Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, and Founding Director of the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Wang Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of GLAC, and Mr. Li Hai, Director of SCIEP, attended and delivered keynote speeches. The participating guests also included representatives from Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology, Shenzhen Zhongke Advanced Industry Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., China Certification & Inspection Group North China Co., Ltd., SZITS, and Productivity Promotion Center of Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau.

12 innovative projects related to the Beidou satellite navigation system were introduced in a series of compelling presentations. These projects spanned a wide array of cutting-edge fields, including the Internet of Things (IoT), autonomous driving, high-precision navigation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and new energy management systems. The project principal also showcased the product advantages and innovative features, and highlighted the vast potential and promising future of Beidou-empowered applications across diverse industrial sectors.

Following a series of rigorous evaluations conducted by the evaluating experts, the “Smart Shipping” project from Shanghai Tianke Hengcheng Intelligent Systems Co., Ltd. was awarded the First Prize, recognized for its outstanding performance and innovative technology in the maritime sector. Projects from Anhui Keli Information Industry Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Ju Rui Yun Kong Technology Co., Ltd. were awarded parallel Second Prize. Projects from Jiangsu Yueda Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Kemin Sensor Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Bei Dou Lian Xing Technology Co., Ltd. were awarded parallel Third Prize. Moreover, projects from Shenzhen Ai Zhi IoT Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Hei Xing Zhe Technology Co., Ltd. received the parallel Excellence Prize.

SCIEP congratulated the successful convening of the event and reaffirmed the commitment to leveraging its unique strengths in talent exchange and innovation cooperation, providing greater support and assistance for innovative projects within the Beidou navigation sector, and fostering the advancement and worldwide adoption of Beidou-based technologies.
