The 2nd Asian Universities Science and Technology Innovation Forum to Chart a New Course in Japan
Riding the wave of transformation and innovation in the new era, higher education institutions across Asian countries and regions with growing global influences have cultivated a multitude of innovative talents with global perspectives, and contributed to groundbreaking advancements in cutting-edge fields including artificial intelligence and digitalization. With its thriving education system and technology innovation capability, Asia is rapidly emerging as a prominent driving force for global development. To fully draw on the brilliance of global sci-tech innovators, the way to promote talent circulation within Asia and foster international cooperation in higher education has become a focus of common interest for Asian universities.
With a view to deepening education collaboration, facilitating technology innovation, and shaping the development pattern of Asian higher education institutions, the 2nd Asian Universities Science and Technology Innovation Forum, co-hosted by the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), and organized by the Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel (SCIEP), is scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, on February 17-18, 2025. We are honored to invite 31 presidents and vice presidents from 11 universities in China (including Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR), 11 universities in Japan, and 9 universities across Cambodia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Laos to engage in in-depth discussions on topics of common interest, explore the prospects of cooperation in education, technology, and talent cultivation among Asian universities, and share insights on the progress of technology innovation in Asia and beyond, thereby jointly creating a brighter future.
