2026 "Smart GBA, Linked Future" International Talent Exchange in Science, Technology and Culture – Thematic Exchange Meeting Successfully Concludes

On the morning of June 16, 2026, the 2026"Smart GBA, Linked Future" International Talent Exchange in Science, Technology and Culture-Thematic Exchange Meeting on International AI Robotics successfully convened at the AIR Design House in Bao'an District, Shenzhen City. The event was guided by the Science, Technology and Innovation Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and the Organization Department of CPC Bao'an District Committee (Bao'an District Talent Affairs Bureau), hosted by Bao'an District Human Resources Service Center and Bao'an District Science and Technology Innovation Service Center, organized by Shenzhen Center for International Exchange of Personnel (SCIEP) and supported by Shenzhen Robotics Association.
This event brought together eight foreign experts from Canada, the United States, France, Norway, Germany, Iceland, and Japan, relevant officials from Shenzhen Municipality and Bao'an District, including Wenjie CHU, Deputy Division Level Investigator of the Division of Foreign Experts and Science & Technology Talents, Science, Technology and Innovation Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, and Lusi ZHANG, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of CPC Bao'an District Committee, Director of Bao'an District Talent Affairs Bureau, as well as representatives from three key sci-tech enterprises in Bao'an District, namely Lumos Robotics, Moying Robotics, and Anke. The participants conducted in-depth exchanges on specialized technological directions and industrial applications of AI robotics.
The event commenced with a group photo of all Chinese and international guests, followed by a site visit to the AIR Design House. After receiving an overview of the exhibition hall, the enterprise representatives were invited to deliver on-site presentations. During the visit, foreign experts conducted preliminary exchanges on topics including core robotic components, overall system performance, and market adaptability.

Following the site visit, the Thematic Exchange Meeting officially commenced. Qiang MA, Director of Bao'an District Human Resources Service Center, delivered welcome remarks, extending a warm reception to the visiting foreign experts. He provided an overview of Bao'an District, with particular emphasis on its development and innovation in the intelligent robotics sector, and expressed Bao'an District's aspiration to deepen global connections and achieve win-win outcomes and shared prosperity.
During the exchange session, representatives from Lumos Robotics, Moying Robotics, and Anke presented their respective products' technological advantages, application scenarios, and current research and development challenges.
The networking session focused on four key dimensions, including robotic hardware performance optimization, AI data applications in medical imaging, enterprise technology collaboration and alignment, and product market implementation. Experts offered professional insights on battery endurance, lightweight design, data acquisition and algorithm optimization, cross-sector integration and collaboration, and local industrialization pathways. Enterprises responded in succession and exchanged technical perspectives, fostering an efficient and pragmatic atmosphere and achieving a "precise alignment between expert diagnosis and industrial demand".
In a rigorous and productive manner, this Exchange Meeting successfully concluded, establishing an effective communication bridge between high-level international intellectual resources and Bao'an District's enterprises, facilitating the sharing of cross-border technical expertise, and creating favorable conditions for subsequent potential project collaborations. The participating experts expressed positive assessments of Bao'an District's industrial ecosystem and innovation vitality, further enhancing the region's international influence in the AI robotics sector and laying a foundation for attracting additional overseas high-level talent and innovation resources.
